Thank you, Middletown!

I want to express my deep gratitude to the voters of Middletown for re-electing me to Middletown Town Council. My priorities for the next two years include education, property tax reform, resident affordability, and the environment.

I attended Middletown schools growing up and I am passionate about ensuring that our schools are setting students up for their best possible futures. I will continue to bring proven programing to our schools like I have done with the governor’s Learn365RI and the Beyond the Bell Program.

We need to fix the heavy tax burden we face, and it starts with tax reform. When property taxes go up for landlords, their renters pay the price. This makes it harder for longtime Middletown families to stay here. I will work to keep our taxes under control and make Middletown a place for families to live and thrive.

“Give a Hoot, Don’t Pollute” is the motto of Woodsy Owl and I have adopted it as my own personal motto as well. We should all respect our environment and the easiest first step is to pick up your trash and any other trash you see. Litter gets washed into our drinking water as well as our beautiful coastal waters.

I encourage all Middletowners to “give a hoot” and get engaged in our amazing community. Whether that includes volunteering with one of our wonderful local non-profits, serving on a town committee, giving testimony at council meetings on topics you are passionate about, or just helping out your neighbors – we are all in this together and our town has a much brighter future if we all pull together.

Thank you to Middletown voters for selecting me to represent you. I am honored to earn your vote and promise to serve with your best interests in mind.
